Virtual Supper Club
For the month of February, the Supper Club bloggers brought the rich flavors of Italy to their virtual table. Italian cuisine tends to (unfairly) get a bad reputation for being heavy on fat and calories, so they decided to explore the healthier side of Italian cooking by incorporating simple ingredients, fresh herbs, and flavorful spices with these Cooking Light recipes.

Thanks Mallory for another great write up of the Virtual Supper Club. It was another fun month to explore some healthier recipes. Welcome Sandi and thanks for adding your recipe.
This was so much fun Mallory to come up with a delcious and healthy Italian menu. Salute a cent’anno (health for a hundred years) !!!
I'd like to try this Shrimp Arrabbiata dish for sure.
This kind of food is so great but with a green salad because it isn't fatty and it's ideal to people who has high levels of fat.
I remember,I remember,
The house where I was born,
The little window where the sun
came peeping in at morn;
He never came a wink too soon,
Nor brought too long a day,
But now ,I often wish the night
had borne my breath away.
From Hélène's Capri-style salad featuring authentic mozzarella di bufala (or buffalo mozzarella) to Jamie's Spaghettini with Oil and Garlic topped with red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese (beautifully pictured here), be sure to check out each of the blogger's menu items this month.
