Caught on Camera: Our garden’s melon thieves

This gardening thing was just raised to a whole new level! Winter squash and melons that were looking great have been decimated. Really frustrating! We set up the night camera and caught these. Hold on to your pants!

We’re currently researching deterrents to keep these creatures from coming back and having their way with our line up of produce for next year’s magazines. Anyone got any ideas? We’d love to hear them!

    Both! Good eyes. The larger photo is a coyote, and then a few hours later we snapped a pair of foxes on the night camera. I think the foxes are going back for seconds after the coyotes drag away the pumpkins and melons.
