How to Top Your Pie with Cutouts

November 24, 2015 | By | Comments (4)

We spent some time finding the perfect way to top your pie and picked a few of our favorites. Turn dessert into a work of art with these cute, festive, and fun ideas!

Instagram has been poppin’ with pies covered in different shapes, the next more ornate than the first. They’re stunning and the perfect choice to bring to the in-laws.

Our pie was made with our Double-Crust Apple Pie, minus the double-crust part. After rolling out your dough you can use any cookie cutter you want to create the perfect seasonal shape. After that it’s your choice for topping. Our topping goes up the middle, but yours could go around the edges, randomly throughout, or even covering the entire top. Get creative!
