There’s good news for pregnant women who love fish! A recent study in Spain shows that consuming three portions of fish each week may be highly beneficial to the baby’s neuropsychological development.

The study evaluated almost 2,000 mother-child pairs ranging from the first trimester in pregnancy to a five-year-old child and showed improved brain function in children whose mothers ate fish compared to children whose mothers ate very little or none at all. And, to bring even more good news, there was no indication that mercury or other pollutants that linked to fish cause any harm or any negative effects that overshadowed the benefits.

So, want to get your fish intake?  We’ve got a couple ideas we think you’ll love.
